How to save metadata in Topaz plug-ins
Whenever I edit an image (RAW or JPG) in any of my suite of Topaz plug-ins, the resulting Tiff file has been stripped of nearly all metadata when it returns to Lightroom 4. I'm using currently-updated LR and Topaz products on a Mac running Mountain Lion with 8GB of memory. Does anyone else experience this, and perhaps knows of a workaround? (I don't have this issue with other plug-ins, such as Silver EFEX and HDR EFEX Pro).

Here is a Topaz link to your question. It sounds like a good fix is immanent for FXLab and Lightroom and may actually be out there already with the recent upgrade for FXLab for Clarity.

Thanks; I missed this thread when I tried searching their site. I also just received (after three attempts) a reply from Topaz to my question about the problem, and it just said they were "working on a fix". No date was promised.

I tried the earlier poster's suggestion that the updated PhotoFx Lab might have the fix, and it seems to work. I was able to process a RAW file in both Clarity and Adjust after updating the Lab, and all metadata was preserved.
