Looking for some help on two questions:
1. Is there a way to mask and drop part of an image from one photo to another in Aperture? Know you can do this in photoshop, but don't believe I can do this in Aperture? If not, anyone know of a plugin that would do this?

2. Is there a way to merge several photos in Aperture? Not thinking HDR as much as a group of macro shots where different elements are in focus in each photo & you merge them so the mergers photo is all in focus (stacking)? Don't think Aperture has this functionality, and if not are there any plugins available to accomplish this?

I do have the full NIK set of plugins, but don't think that helps. If photoshop is the way to go, can I get by with elements?

Thanks for any responses,
