Can anyone help with a fault to a Nikon D5100 digital SLR. My daughter-in-law left her camera onboard a BA flight from Washington DC to London. Fortunately, the camera was handed into the lost property office at Heathrow Terminal 5. Thats the good news. However, we suspect that the camera (in a padded camera bag) might have got drooped? When the camera is turned on, an error is displayed saying to press shutter again - makes a whirring noise. Does this sound serious is is it repairable at a Nikon Service Centre? Any thoughts or comments from the membership would be appreciated.
