regarding the Nikon 35 2.8 shift lens: silver and black shift knob:
I suppose the ones with the silver knobs are the older ones, right? But is there an optical difference between the two? Regarding the 28mm shift lens, there is a difference in the f stop: 3.5 versus 4, if I recall correctly, but the 35mm ones are all 2.8.
Do you know anything about it?

There seems to be 3 different optical formulas for the 35/2.8 PC. Go to Rolands Nikon Lens Specifications for more info.
