Prior to having my 28/3.5 Nikkor-H modified, I wouldn't dare mount it to my F4. But, $20 later, I now have a fully compatible 28/3.5 for my F4. Works as a factory AI lens, since the rear element baffle was cut down just enough to provide the lens speed sensing tab. Lens can matrix meter, which isn't possible with my other chrome barrel Nikkors.

Not the most pretty looking mod, but it does the job. Work was done by Brian Williams in Tacoma, WA. His eBay username is microbee.
