What D700 settings are recommended for the sharpest photos with the least amount of noise on a large flat screen high definition LCD television? I would like to compile a group of photos to burn on a DVD for a modern version slide show.

Lowest ISO setting possible?
14 bit or 12 bit?
RAW/fine setting?
Does f/stop contribute to sharpness, irrespective of bokeh?
Blueray?
I use a D700 with LR2 software

What else would improve the image quality?
