I have 2 D700's that I have had for several years and am experiencing no particular problem with either. Can someone tell me what I should expect as far as pricing to have them "tuned up" at a Nikon service center?
If there is no problems needing to be fixed, I would expect a simple cleaning and inspection to run about $100 US. It has been a while since I have had that done to any cameras, so my expectations may be a little off from reality.

I called Nikon for the same request about 2 weeks ago and I remember (I'm 68, so you know what that means) $145- $325 depending on whether they find anything wrong. My D700 just went over 100,000 clicks, so I think it's time.
I had my d700 in for repair to replace the leather cover on the backside. They included a thorough checkup related to calibration of my focusing system, white balance, and other things. Total cost including repairs was around $200.
