Have you, Nikonians residing in the US, bought a D700 or any other digital Nikon non-USA? That is to say, have you bought a gray camera?

I bought a "gray" SB-600, and in the past my first AF Nikon (my long-gone F80) was a gray model from B&H. Any risks involved in this besides being serviced by Nikon USA?

I'm asking 'cuz I've seen a number of nicely priced D700s in the bay. At least the vendors graciously inform potential buyers that they're selling an "import model."

Thanks!
