L-plate blocks dc cable--is an extension available?
Just got a CD-100 cable to use my Quantum Turbo 2x2 with the D700. Unfortunately, the cable will not plug in the dc socket without first taking off my L-plate. The CD-100 cable has an L-shaped plug, with the leg of the plug pointing down, instead of up, so it hits the plate. Removing the plate is not workable for me. Anyone know of a short extension plug that I can use to make the cable work? Thanks.

Which L-bracket do you have? If you have a RRS bracket, then you can reposition the L-bracket for more clearance. If you have a Kirk bracket, then you can get the spacer.

I have the RSS plate, so yes, I can slide it out to allow clearance. But I considered that an inconvenient workaround. Better than removing the plate, for sure, but a short extension plug for the DC socket would be the elegant solution. I have searched the Internet with no luck. Again, thanks for sending the workaround solution.
