Because I've just bought a Sigma 85mm (which further to my previous post on the non-nikon AF lenses I'm still contemplating)and it seems to front focus I tried using the AF fine tune for the first time ever. I seem to have now got the correct settings. My question is though is it acceptable to have to adjust the AF? or is it only bad lenses that will need it? Should a lens be spot on to start with? Is this normal? etc etc. Any advice / comments welcomed.
