Any "Burners" out there?

I'm heading out to BM for the first time and will be taking my D700. I hear it can be very, very dusty and windy. My guess is that all the dust will harm the D700 over a course of a week or two.

I'm thinking of putting a 50mm 1.8D on it, putting it in a gallon freezer bag so it's nice and loose. I'll cut holes for the lens hood and the eyepiece and then tape it up to make it as air proof as possible.

I'm thinking the lens, the lens coupling, dials & buttons are all vulnerable.

Anybody have a better ides other than an underwater housing!
