I am doing something wrong. I am attempting to use the SB800 flash on the D700 for fill flash shooting outdoors. I thought I had the flash set but each time I attempt my images are blown way out. My D700 is set to auto ISO which may have something to do with my problem, ISO 200-6400? I am using an F stop from f/1.4 up to f/8 on my 85mm and the 24-70mm lenses. I am setting the flash on the ttlBL. I have great results in side the house or in dark environments. The problem is filling or obtaining even lighting when shooting out doors in very sunny skies or I guess anytime when shooting outside. I have adjusted the EV on the D700 and have lowered the power I thought enough to compensate but still the images are shockingly over exposed. Ideas? How should I set the flash (I thought I knew) for outdoor fill flash and is the auto ISO the problem? Thanks
