In setting up my new D700 I noticed that if for example you use the standard setting in more than one bank, every bank that uses SD will be changed, even if say you want to adjust the saturation in only shooting bank A.

So I did the Ken's set up of adding the picture control to My Menu and can call it up with the fn / DOF button if I want to change them quickly.

I also downloaded the Nikon Optional Picture control settings that mimic the color reproduction used in the D2X onto the D700. Now that they are in Manage Picture control, I plan on testing those optional settings out for skin tone.
