Hi Scott - the first part of my original posting was cut off - so I will repeat it considering that I am attracted to this meter not for the Flash metering but for the general shooting metering. The most important function of this meter is a multi function light meter programmed to match and calibrate to the sensivity of my digital camera sensor (D-700) for perfect exposure control. Once done it will measure via Spot/incident measurements modes ( amongst other measurements) using the dynamic range of a particular digital camera range that is store, with Pre-exposure warning exposures indicators and adjustable mid-tone settings.
This is the reason that I want to see how good and/useful this is with a D-700.
I need info from users - if any D700 owners owns or has used this meter for general photography. Jacques G
It is possible to calibrate the L-758DR Digital Master (which I have) to your D700. However, you will need to purchase a target from Sekonic for around $150.00. This can be found on Sekonic's web site at the following address.
