Okay, I'm sure this has been gone over before. Probably a lot.
I just received my over used, over priced, D700, although in perfect shape, and I will probably do my own testing for the way I work, but just wanted some opinions:

How high can you push the iso and not get noise, or at least, obvious noise?

I shoot my D300 at iso 200 going no higher than 800 iso when I need more light, so maybe my question is what is the D700 iso noise equivalent for a D300 at iso 200, 400 and 800? If there is such a thing.

Thanks, I'll be shooting the Teton's and Yellowstone starting mid September, if you're in the neighborhood...
