WB White Balance Issue

I use a device, BRNO lens cap to set my custom WB.
However, indoor shots always records the lighting as yellow when using the WB but also w/ the standard presets; incandescent, fluorescent, tungsten. The only exception is when I use a flash.

Any idea of what is going on and how I should start thinking about this differently?
When I was shooting Canon, I never had this issue.
