My setup is MB-D10 Battery Grip, 8 AA batteries, Raw+Jpg, D-Lighting. I am getting the advertised 8fps w/ this setup.

My question(s) deal w/ how quickly I can begin to shoot again at 8fps.

Advertised is 100 image buffer rate.

After firing a set of 8 frames, it can take a few seconds before I can take a few more exposures, but it is slow. If I am reading my LCD Panel correctly, the buffer image indicator shows 6 images.

Could someone here show me the light? Ideally I would like to shoot at 8fps, continuously.

Thanks,

Doug
