I have been asked to do a group photo involving approximately 40-50 of my co-workers. I expect we could shoot outside at approximately 4:30pm in early July. For equipment I have a D700, Nikkor 24-70 2.8 as well as 2 SB-800 speedlights, stands and umbrellas.
I had thought to take the photo, perhaps elevated somewhat on a stepladder, without attempting any flash assistance, since my equipment is limited in that respect.
I would appreciate any thoughts any of you might have on how to achieve the best result.
I hope I am posting this to the correct forum.
