I never thought I would be typing this but I want to put out a warning. This past week I ordered a D700 from B&H. It arrived yesterday(Friday) and I quickly opened the package to inspect the contents. Everything seemed fine. I opened the box for the D700 to get to the charger and battery. Went to get the cord to plug the charger and it was a European(I'm assuming)style plug. I quickly looked again at the outside of the box and noticed that it was marked D700 (AR). I called Nikon to find out what that meant. They confirmed that it was a European version and that I should return it to B&H. I intend to call first thing Sunday morning when they open. On another forum(yes, there are other Nikon forums)someone else had just received a new D700. I explained what I encountered and asked if anyone else bought from B&H. Another answered that a friend had and also gotten a European version. My question here is did anyone else recently receive a D700 from B&H and was it the US version? I've ordered from B&H in the past and NEVER had a problem like this.

The destination is our goal but it’s the journey that educates us.
