I shoot large numbers of JPEG's for events and thus need to avoid as much post-processing (particularly sharpening) as possible. Because I am not shooting RAW, I need a good quality image with enough sharpness. Since Nikon has been conservative with its in-camera sharpening, I used the +1 (medium high) setting with my D200 and D80's and got very good results. What do you suggest for an in-camera sharpness setting for my D700? I need a sharp image but nothing that is oversharpened and hence will ruin the overall appearance of the image.
