Here are some photo's of the Northrup N9MB Experimental Flying Wing flown at the Planes of Fame Museum in Chino, California on 6 Oct. This is a small plane compared to the 15 bomber versions build in the 40's. After a series of test flight crashes, they were destroyed. It was realized that 'man' could not at that time fully control the plane. This experimental plane was not destroyed. Interesting to watch it fly. Photo's were taken with a D300 and a 10-24mm and 70-300mm lens.
