Hi Folks,

Just a refresh of this post so it hits everyone's Read New - we're seeing many more posts and participants, which is great, but we've got to stay on-track with posting limits regarding photos. I know everyone wants to share, but we encourage everyone to review and think carefully about what you're posting.

We ask that you consider looking over your photo posts and use the philosophy "Less is More." Think about posting your Top Three - especially if you're looking for critique or comment (C&C). This will help focus the conversations to the improvements that you are seeking.

It's been great to see the participation level here at the Aviation forum - it's exceeded the expectations we had. But we do need to start asking everyone to conform to the Terms of Use (TOU) regarding the maximum # of photos or links in a single post. Per TOU 3.4:

3.4. Not only traffic is a major cost component, a big number of visitors are not on broad band Internet, please help by not posting in the forums more than 3 photos per post; no more than 10 images per day; or a reasonable number of links to images per day.

Additionally, everyone seems to have gotten higher resolution monitors for the holidays, but remember that Section 3.5 of the Terms of Use recommends a maximum of 1200 pixels wide/high on any given photograph. We're starting to see folks push that limit by a great margin, so we're going to prune anything that comes over that limit and ask everyone to repost with compliant sizes.

So remember - SIZE and COUNT. This will help keep things neat and tidy over here.

We look forward to everyone's contributions!

For any questions, please feel free to contact me or any of the forum moderators. We appreciate your participation here at Nikonians!

Regards,

Armando
