First, I have got so say I that after the help I got n this forum, my prints from Costco (White Marsh, MD) are excellent and I can reliably predict what they will look like from my monitor.
This is sooo much better than dealing with film and custom printers. More front side effort on our part; but so much more control over the final product.
Now my question. I have DSL. My uploads to Costco (I use the Full Resolution upload option) are VERY slow and then it winds up loading 3 copies of my images (so not is it slow, it is 3 X slow!) A call to Costco Photo Help was pleasant, but not very useful.
Has anyone else run into this?

I was excited when my CostCo opened up the option to upload images. Instead of 2 trips to Costco, I'd only have to go pick them up.
On my very first upload, it was so slow that I vowed never to use it again. I have talked to the staff. They said many photographers do their uploads over night in a batch. Based on what I saw, 400 meg of images would take several day. I am using Cable that runs at 3mg or hgher.
One thing that I did like was the email they sent saying my order was printed.
