I ordered the clear spacers into my frame that Mark had suggested in another thread, from Frame Destinations, here:

https://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=198&page=

These were very easy to install onto the glass, the spacers slipped right onto the glass and the print looks great in the frame, and is now not touching the glass, and is more archival.

The only thing to consider in what you use, whether mat board or spacers, is if your frame thickness provides the needed clearance to allow all of these items inside the frame, to work correctly. I removed a frame "back board" which was needed to "hold" the contents inside the frame, and instead installed "spring clips" via screws screwed into the frame by me, to hold the contents in the frame, which clips needed no space inside the frame thickness to work for me.

I'm very happy with the clear spacers and will give more thought in future purchases to thicker frames to allow for the contents other than the print, that will be needed inside the thickness of that frame. I do recommend these spacers for framing !
Thanks, Debra
