I am looking to see if anyone has any views on which of these two services are the best? These aren't for pro photos, more snaps that have been taken on holiday, family, etc. Either that should be avoided at all costs?

I have placed several orders with Snapfish. They have completed the orders quickly and shipped the products safely. All have been of good quality. I cannot speak to longevity of their products, but so far I do not see fading or other deterioration of the products. I have ordered two photo books and two canvas wrap prints. I plan to order more.

If you have a Epson photo printer then you should examine the costs and quality of printing your own prints, especially 4x6. When Epson offers a 40% discount on photo paper those 4x6 prints become extremely cheap even when considering ink costs. And you get high quality paper and print results.
