Hi printing Nikonians,
I took delivery of my Canon ipf 6400 this week and boy is it a nice printer. I am amazed at all the features it offers and the stand that was included is awesome, it has four rollers and swivels and the printer is mounted via four long screws into the printer through the printer stand. It has a nice basket to catch the prints. I have printed a few photos on glossy and I experimented with the Canon Print plug-in for Photoshop.
The speed is very good but I have not printed long yet.
The printer has a color calibration routine which uses an installed red, green, and blue LED module that reads print bars printed.
I'm looking forward to learning how to really use the printer. I need to get some 24" long paper, I only have glossy in 13" width and matte in 17" width which I use on the Epson 3800(and have to cut manually).
