I calibrated my monitor using i1 Display Pro and loading a profile into the graphics card LUT.

In Windows 7 Color Management I had to check the box for "Use my settings for this device".

I'm assuming that this profile is loaded into the graphics card LUT at boot up and it is not a permanent change to the LUT. Correct?

I'm planning to buy a wide gamut monitor that has a built-in LUT so I want to remove any previous calibration profiles. Do I simply uncheck the box in W7 Color Management? Do I need to delete the profiles listed?
