Hi,
I recently replaced my r1800 with the r3000 and are calibrating the monitor with spyder 3. All my prints look fine on the monitor but washed out in the print, even when I decrease brightness in LR4.

I remember when I first used the 1800 with an earlier spyder program, I inadvertently had both program and print management checked with expected weirdness.

Here's what I've done. I calibrate the monitor and name it the month I'm in. December,2012. I then use the paper profile in lr4 which is Ilford smooth pearl, as I did with the 1800.

I know I'm doing something stupid and have some Christmas pictures to gift tomorrow (I know last minute) and would appreciate any thoughts on what I could check.

Thanks,
George Whitson
