Epson 2400 and Lightroom/CS5--why won't they speak to each other?
Having trouble getting the printer to recognize all of the icc profiles on my PC hard drive. Lightroom sees them, but I can't print without going through the Epson print setup window, and it only shows a few paper profiles of the many I have loaded. Question is how to get other profiles to show up in my Epson setup window.

If you are selecting the ICC paper profile in Lightroom then you don't need to select it in the Epson printer driver - in fact that would cause a double profiling situation which would give you a strong magenta color cast. What I think you are referring to is the Media Type profile drop down list in the printer driver. These profiles are not like ICC paper profiles and should not be confused as such. Media Type profiles are instructions for the printer on how densely to lay the ink droplets among other things for a particular paper type and surface. Read the manual for your R2400 for guidance on which Media Type profile to use with a particular Epson paper and if you are using 3rd party papers look for directions on this issue on their website or in an instruction page provided with their downloadable ICC paper profiles.
