Greetings all,

I have had my Epson 3880 now of a little over a week. After the first few prints on Epson and now Breathing color papers it became obvious I needed to soft proof my prints before printing to get exactly what I wanted which I have done and I am so far very happy with the results. The first few prints just seemed a little dull even though I was using the correct profile for the paper being printed on. My question is, is this normal? Will I have to soft proof all my prints no matter what paper & profiles I am using to get the best screen to print match? Or are there better profiles out there? Is this where custom printer & paper profiles come into play?
