Print processing SW: CS6, Qimage ????
Just getting back into digital printing. Looking for user-friendly software. HAve used Qimage in past and liked it. Found Adobe CS products difficult, although haven't used latest generation. Suggestions?? Thanks

I own two copies of QImage. I find QImage very user-hostile, to the point that I won't use it unless I just can't get the job done without it. I find Photoshop somewhat less hostile, but still extremely error-prone for printing. Instead, I use Lightroom to run the printing, and that suffices for all but the most extreme cases. If I have to make a print that is really a bit too big for the file, I'll drag out QImage. I don't know how they do it, but they can make a few impossible prints into possible ones. But that happens twice a year, and likely will happen less and less over time. Usually for me it happens when I need a big print from when I was using an older camera with a smaller sensor (D100, D2h). I can only remember needing this once with my 12mp cameras, and it's hard to imagine needing it if I were to get a 24mp camera or more.
I have half a dozen crash dumps from QImage, mostly if not all due to user error - but in every case it took me at least half an hour to figure out what went wrong.
