I need a better understanding of the "Art of Printing”, I’m do this and doing that and then there is me and my process has not been repeatable. I have been reading some of the reviews on some of the new printers, but limited to paper info, if on papers, longer rolls, etc. And there files DLL and ICC that I want to understand.
I think that printer maintenance should belong to the operator. On Youtube People are using liquid solutions for cleaning the head parking, also a swiping finger that clears ink off the head.
I would like to have the same kind of mastery for my printer that (I Think) I do with my camera and lens. I may not be an all A student today, but I’m flunking Printing 101. For the last year.
I’ve been googleing the last few days for help with printers; I have found a few forum groups that are using windex to clean the ink cleaner sponge. This people are cleaning out ink cartridges using another fluid to flush out the ink cartages and cartage’s nozzles,
I’m looking for books, Forum members, forum groups or printing company trainers workshops
Am I asking for too much or are things out there?

Photography IS about the print, so you are certainly on the right track.
Luminous Landscape is probably the best forum for printing information.
The video series are a must, affordable too. "Camera to Print and Screen" is one.
