I need to print some foldable pamphlets on glossy or semiglossy paper. The printer I'm using for this is Epson 9900. Can any of you please recommend double sided paper that would be good for the task. It doesn't need to be of the high quality art type. Also not to expensive.
If you are feeding sheets to the 9900 full bleed will not be an option unless you print oversized and trim -- also the trailing edge of the page will have a substantial minimum margin. Alignment of the two sides will not be precise when sheet feeding the 9900 so don't go too tight on margins and clearance from folds. I do all my two-sided brochures (actually all of my sales literature and business cards) on a Canon Desktop Pro9000 because of its ability to print full bleeds with precision alignment of the sides. The dye-based inks also create a better look on gloss paper.
I do quite a bit of two-sided printing from business cards to 11x17 4-page full bleed gloss brochures on a variety of paper stocks. If you need more information advise more specifics on your requirements.
I'm looking for gloss or semi gloss paper. The paper shouldn't be heavy weight, just enough weight to not to show print at the opposite side. The size I'm looking for is 8.5 x 11. The pamphlet shall be bifold, but printed on all four sides.
Yeah, I'm aware of the trailing edge margin on 9900. Im not printing full bleed as the images are smaller then the fold. I will have enough room on all sides to play around a bit. I completely agree with you on alignment issue. I'm hoping, since I have some room to play with, to avoid any serious complications. Unfortunately I don't have any desk top printers of similar quality. I'll trim the finished product if I need to. I usually don't do this kind of work but can't turn regular customer down just because of the printer issue.

Thanks so much for your offer. I'll probably need some help with this.
I end up buying HP Brochure Double sided 48 lb semi glossy paper. The Staples, one of the local office supply stores had a deal "buy one (50 sheet package) get the second one for FREE". So 50 sheet cost me less than $ 10.00. I couldn't pass this opportunity.
