When a scanner manufacturer states a time to scan film. Is that the time it takes per image, per strip, or per multi-strip batch that fills the whole film carrier?

I'm asking this whilst having an interest to buy an Epson V700 or V750. The Epson spec does not clarify this point.

Interesting also that they only quote a time for 2400spi not higher.
