What is you favorite frame simulator ?
I like simulators such as the MAToMATIC at http://www.matshop.com/
It allows one to select:
a) the type of frame
b) width of the frame
c) type of mat
d) color of mat
e) size of mat
f) mat bottom weighted or not
g) single or double mat
h) wall color
i) the most important: download your photo and try it in the frame
It is free and no obligation to buy.
Improvements I would like to see:
a) larger view
b) a comparator (like lightboxes where you can see several photos simultaneously to help you select the best one)
c) a stand-alone application I could install on my computer, so no need to downsample and download my photos
What is yours?

I like Matshop's mat-o-matic, too. About year ago I purchased a set of Photoshop matting/framing actions from Ryan Desjardin Photography - $15. I've found them well worth it. I can experiment with all kinds of matting options before committing to the real thing. They give a lot of control over sizes, colours and number of mattes. The examples and video demos on his site give an idea of what you can do with them.
