Help! Older Epson printer (825) w/ Windows 7
Just switched over to Windows 7, and need help getting the Stylus Photo 825 working on this operating system. Not sure how to get it working.
The driver installed ok, but the printer still won't print documents or even the nozzle check. It's been working fine up until switching to new computers with Windows 7, which was a couple fo weeks ago.
Theere must be a way to get it working. Anyone faced a similar issue and got you older printer to work with Wondows 7?
Thanks in advance.

According to the Epson website this printer is not compatible with Windows 7. You might be able to get it to work using these instructions provided by Microsoft, but it is not likely.

The Windows 7 Compatibility Chart at the Epson website does indeed state that
Win7 has no native drivers, and Epson has no downloadable drivers.
But the chart has a check in the box 'Windows Update' so maybe all is not lost.
(with the caveat that such drivers probably lack needed functions, as an incentive to buy a new printer!)
"Windows Update = Epson provided some 32-bit and 64-bit drivers to Microsoft which they've made available via their Windows Update (Internet connection required). Simply connect your Epson product to your Windows 7 computer and follow the on-screen instruction. If your model is not listed on this chart or in the Windows Update list of models, it is not compatible with Windows 7."
