Well, following the great advice and discussion provided by this forum, I ordered an R2880 printer. Upon further reading, I also realized that in order to maximize the potential of the output quality/trueness, I need a color calibration device...

From what I read, I'm looking at three candidates:
1. X-Rite il Eye One
2. Datacolor Spyder 3 Pro or Elite
3. X-Rite ColorMunki Photo

So, first question -- is there a product that I grossly overlooked?

It appears that the first two are for the monitor only, while the ColorMunki also calibrates the output; is that correct?

I would really appreciate your advice, especially if you had an opportunity to compare these devices, in regards to what I should get.
