I have been searching the WWW looking for a good quality film scanner. I plan to scan 35mm and Medium Format mostly B & W. There are a good number of scanners for 35mm but so far, few for the twin format. I'm interested in knowing what you Folks have to say about the scanners you are using for both formats..

I use a Minolta Scan Multi Pro scanner, which handles most common film formats. Minolta is out of the scanner business, so they are only available used. Also, Vista drivers are not available so I have to keep a Windows XP box if I want to use it. Nikon made the LS8000 and LS9000 model multiformat film scanners. The LS9000 appears to be still in production. Other manufacturers built mulitformat scanners as well, but Vista drivers will likely be an issue for all but the Nikon models.
Vuescan software seems to support most popular scanners, so that is an option if you have a scanner that does not have OEM Vista drivers.
