I haven't used the new clear photo paper. In fact I'm still saving to buy Epson 2100. But last month while I'm at singapore, I saw many clear photo and looks great.
it's near Bali, if you don't know where it is

I have used several clear films in my inkjets. The Epson transparency film produces horrible results, very low contrast, and with a strong texture. It also has a very unpleasant "gritty" feel, and it makes you wonder what's coming off the paper and contaminating your printer.
Pictorico Transparency Film is the only clear film I've ever used that I really like. Good colors, good tonal range, acceptably deep blacks. Give it a try, you'll be surprised.
