My local lab has a special going on $5 each for 10x15 prints from their Fuji Frontier. I brought in one image on a CD from my D1x sized to 10x15 at 300 dpi. The other was a color slide (Provia 100) from my N80. The slide was sharp and well exposed according to my lightbox and a 4x loupe. The digital print was beautiful and the print from the slide was dull and grainy. I got a better print from the slide on my Epson 870 scanned by a Epson 2450 which is just fair with 35mm film. Any suggestions for getting better prints directly from the slide? Thanks, Mike

Some of the best shots are from the interstate and you can't stop there
