Taken last week in Breckenridge, Colorado. It was snowing lightly where I was, snowing heavily on the mountain. With the sun poking through it made the light appear warm, but the actual temp was 6 degrees.
Processed with a couple of Color Efex Pro 4 filters.
D300, 24-70 F/2.8 1/100, F/16, hand held on my belly.
It makes me think of an image I took at White Sands, NM last October that has rippling waves of brilliant white sand that I took on ANPAT 12 that I am still studying how best to present it. Mine however is only the sand since I started out with the idea of creating an abstract. I will probably look at some filter options in LR4 and/or Nik. Thanks for posting. As always you generate ideas for us.
