This time of the year the birds appear again after disappearing for the winter, and with mating season here they feed like there's no tomorrow, so the feeder needs constant topping up. This is also the best time to picture them in the shrubs around the feeder because one won't see them once the foliage comes out again.
D7000 with Sigma 150-500 mm. ISO 400, F/9 to F/11, shutter between 1/320 sec and 1/1000 sec.
Thanks, folks, for your comments. Bob, interesting you mention rats and bird poop on the deck. I've lived in the Toronto area for 13 years now and I have yet to see a rat around here. Mice, yes, but no rats. I guess I've been lucky. And then, I have no deck, so bird poop is not an issue either .
