The other day Halloween was brought up in one of my postings. I told the poster it was funny he mentioned that. I shot this image the other day and it has something or someone in it I can not explain. I took three different shots and it only appears in one of them, this one. Below is the full scene. What caught my eye here while out shooting snow scenes was the color of this door. It was a bright pinkish red. The building is the Allentown, town hall. Probably build in the late 1800's. It was entered into the National Register of Historic places by the US Department of Interior. It was done so in 1988. The building has not been used in many years and not kept up, not sure why. Anyway just a little history.
Here is the full scene.
Here is just over a 100% crop of the upper right window. Is it just me or does anyone else see a skeleton type face in the upper right corner of the glass? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
I see it too. Just to the right of center in the glass. I think the catchlight that Dan mentioned is a snowflake. That a little eerie. Cool door. I think I'd like the shot better with the concrete step cropped out.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments on the full size, the color of that door just grabs me. Below is a 500px crop from a 7300px full image. I then up sized it to 1000px which I guess makes this a 200% crop. Dean said he couldn't see and Diane said she thought it was dirt. I don't think it is dirt because it is not in the other images I have. This larger image although pixilated may make things a little clearer. Oh and yes, I agree that which seems to be a catch light is indeed a snow flake. Pretty good luck on my part. In fact if it had not been for that I might have missed this, it is what caught my eye while zoomed in.
