The video is at 10 frames per second and the shots were taken every 5 seconds, so the real time was about one and a half hours. (And the video stops before I had the sidewalks cleared, which took about another hour and a half!)
Thanks, David. What made this storm difficult was that the depth of the snow was greater than the 20-inch-high front scoop of the snowblower. It's very rare that we get more than 12 to 18 inches at a time, and there have been winters where I never even took the snowblower out of the garage.
An epic battle! I really like the still you posted. It tells the story and you hadn't lifted a finger. I had one of these battles myself about three years ago...with a shovel. We had 22 inches at my house and I don't have a snow blower. We rarely get more than 6-8 inches, sometimes a foot. I finally beat the snow, but I certainly knew that I had been in a fight.
