On Monday Jan 21 the moon and Jupiter appeared to be closer than than they will until 2026. D300, 300 f/4 EDIF AF, tripod.

Well, technically they are about 628 million km, give or take! It was nice to see this rarity in the sky. Someone asked me if it was a UFO when I pointed it out to them! Thanks for sharing the photo!----------------------------A picture is worth a thousand words! I took a photograph and couldn't think of that many. I guess I'll keep trying!
