I can spend hours trying to shoot these little guys...but patience will pay off. They seem to come to the feeder every 15 to 20 minutes some days other days who can figure...spent many hours ready and waiting. They seem to zip away when they hear the camera and sometimes they just keep an eye on you.
Welcome to Nikonians. Nicely done! I also have that lens, it's surprisingly sharp. You captured nice focus and light on this little one. They're fast, and aggressive with each other. BTW attractive feeder. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
I appreciate your comments and have seen the eagle shots you have posted...I will be in Tulsa OK by the middle of next year and plan on spending a few days trying to get some eagle shots...you have inspired me to try for the big bird.
I set mind out the last part of June or early July and just wait. I also have a large number of red azaleas that start blooming around that time also. Then it's a waiting game. You might HUM while your waiting...LOL...didn't work me so I just wait. Sometimes early morning is good. Hope you get some next year and post, I will be looking.
