Couldn't decide if I wanted this in my usual Architecture forum or here. This is London's Tower Bridge this morning, waiting for the day to break.. It's probably the most photographed bridge in town, but I couldn't turn a blind eye! The mild weather made for an awesome sunrise, so easy to miss in this rat-race. Comment / critique welcome as always..
It looks like HDR That's the craze now at Flickr ~ it's the lazy alternative to using Neutral Grads . I like the reflections on the water and that's what made me speculate that it might've been HDR'd cuz the balance between the source of light is somehow equal to the reflected image on the water .
Thanks for the compliments! No electronic wizardry on this one, & this is pretty much how I saw it. I did bracket this shot quite a bit & I think this frame worked out to about -7 under. More a matter of the right place at the right time! Thanks again..
Stef, your magnificent picture of Tower Bridge and the Thames has filled me with nostalgia. I had the pleasure of exploring London with my English wife elect , in 1990. Rumaging through my archives I found a shot to shed more light on the Gothic masterpiece that I will post to complement your own.
