Jason - both shots are very nice. I like the contrast between the foreground and background in the first one. The railing is the only discordant element in the second, but if it wasn't there, you'd have trouble keeping the people in focus as they tumbled over the edge .

That shot had a slowish shutter speed, maybe 1/15th? I didn't use fill flash - although now that I think about it, I used a 2-stop grad ND to hold back exposure on the sky to get the lighter foreground...
Nice shots. I like how you captured some light on the foreground of the first one. Fill flash? The second is dramatic with the perspective and lighting. It reminds me of when we were there, waiting for the sunset. Thanks for posting.
