August, I don't get through all the subscription emails so since I am on a B&W period and did some posting, I thought I would catch up on others that I might have missed. Wow...this one caught my eye...really nicely done. You painted with light so well. It really pops. Make me want to go south where I can see clouds like that even more plus warmer weather.
We were on a cruise to Cozumel and we stopped in Key West on the way down. I thought the sky was just magnificent...so much drama in the clouds. And Key West is such an interesting and quirky little town, it's a photographers dream. I would love to go back for two or three days of shooting; we only had about four hours. Glad I was able to get this one from the deck of the ship.
De l'audace, encore de l'audace, toujours de l'audace!
John, nice clouds and interesting foreground. I see image of the buildings lacking warmth due to the blue tonality and maybe a tad lack of contrast. Consider adding a warming filter and selective dodging and burning within the buildings for additional contrast but I wouldn't touch the sky, it is really nice. Hope this helps,
