I thought I'd get some criticism from those who are better at it than I am as to what I can do better. These are two that I took out of several hundred, but they're some of ones where I actually slowed down and paid more attention to composition and lighting.

First, the Shard from London Bridge at mid-day. The sky was interesting looking behind it, as it was cloudy and the sun was coming from the left from where I stood. The contrast has been boosted significantly, and color desaturated somewhat, to somewhat hide the foreground buildings and railing you can see in the lower right hand corner.

D5100, 18-55 VR at 36 mm, ISO 100, f/7.1, 1/200. Full EXIF intact.

Second, the main mast of the Cutty Sark, I just liked the geometric shapes the lines made as I looked up, very few changes.

D5100, 18-55 VR at 18 mm, ISO 100, f/3.5, 1/250. Full EXIF intact.

Edit: smaller versions! All of my friends are computer geeks (myself included), so I forgot that not everybody has 50 Mbit connections. Full res are still above.
